The Doorway to Inner Growth

The first major key in the journey of life is the mind and the self. One with more than likely begin to experience the many transformations simultaneously unfolding in various fractions of their life. 9 out of 10, whatever traits are currently being brought to the forefront will be reflected in all areas of your life.

THE PSYCHE

The word psyche comes from two ancient roots: bʰew-, meaning “to blow” or “to breathe,” and bʰū-, meaning “to grow” or “to become.” These roots hold the essence of life’s breath and the natural flow of change. The Greeks carried these ideas into the word ψυχή (psychē), which means “soul” or “life force”—the subtle energy that moves quietly within us.Today, we understand the psyche as our mind—our thoughts, feelings, memories, and our deep capacity to heal and transform. But let’s be real, our minds can sometimes cloud the truth and not fully reveal who we really are. This little inner spotlight is part of the whole psyche puzzle, working behind the scenes with your subconscious and shadow selves. It helps keep you present and aware, guiding how you take in and respond to what’s going on inside and outside. At the heart of this inner dance is a tiny but powerful spot in the brain called the locus coeruleus. Known as the “little blue spot,” it carries a soft blue glow from a pigment called neuromelanin, which naturally gathers in its neurons over time. This small center wakes up our awareness, helping us stay focused and present by filtering out the noise and distractions. It supports the mind’s ability to grow and change by encouraging new connections and deeper learning. It guides our emotional flow, helping us respond with balance, and keeps us flexible so we can adapt smoothly to life’s shifts. In this way, the locus coeruleus helps us bring ideas into reality, turning intention into clear, confident action.

THE SUBCONSCIOUS SELF IMAGE

Let’s say you have a lack of confidence in which may be personified in your place of employment. You may have useful suggestions during a brainstorming session. But you’re not sure if anyone else on the team will see your ideas as beneficial. So you sit back quietly, only to hear your idea being stated by someone else. You sit back and watch how everyone is now giving your colleague kudos for something that you thought of first, but were too afraid to open your mouth and speak. It can also show up during girls' night, where you spend the majority of the night glued to a chair while head bobbing and popping your shoulders, as you treat this chair like it’s the dance flo’. All because you ain’t got the “nutz” to at least two step with the rest of da folks trying to shake off the world. I digress, let’s get back to the focal point of this blog. And that is giving you the insight that your reality can’t change without YOU. But first, you must shift your paradigm. So that your actuality can thrive despite the harshness of this world."Where the mind goes, by the rest will follow" — Phoenix

THE SELF

The self or the things that we tend to hold on to [opinions, judgment, (whether positive or negative)], that we feel other people may have perceived a bout us. These observations could have been accurate or incorrect. These beliefs could have been conveyed straight out of the horse’s mouth or hearsay. These viewpoints can be compliments, flattery, or words of encouragement. The language utilized can also be val, patronizing, or condescending statements, which are aimed at placing you in a subordinate position. These types of exchanges could have had an agreeable or adverse effect depending on their nature. Not all these impressions are gathered via external sources. We harbor our own thoughts and outlooks about ourselves. We have personal values, either self-taught or handed down how did allergies, values, and principles that influence and power forward a personal inner dialogue. The conversations that we cultivate with ourselves become a determining factor of the works that we bring forth. A person can state anything out of their mouth while inwardly retaining another less confident standpoint. And eternal discussion, brimming with insecurities, self-doubt, self self-loathing are all fear-based. The outwardly vocal declarations will come to pass, but the constant inner back and forth, the part that’s giving more attention, will materialize much faster. The happenings that irrespectively a cure on a daily basis, take root in the subconscious. I’m not saying you are condemned to a constant barrage of misfortunes. It’s the centralized contemplating on low emotional thoughts consistently data guarantee is such an outcome. It’s unrealistic to stay in a perpetual state of positivity. I don’t care how many happy thoughts a person dances around with it how many prosperity affirmations they have in their arsenal. Not confronting your personal “demons” we’ll just add another layer of complexity that’s not needed. Doing so is called an act of avoidance. It’s better to deal with whatever has become provoked or what or what we call being triggered. A useful tactic to use during this specific battle is to become The Observer.

The Shadow Self

The masking begins once you suppress these moods and do not face the discomfort it brings about. You are developing your Shadow self. The part that we are not too proud of. The part of this that we rationalize once it slips out for others to witness. The sector of you that places peekaboo with you. It’s not your main plate to cast out your shadow but to study and heal those parts of us that run our lives from the background. We yearn for a desired situation while concurrently willing the undesired outcome, simply because we are so attentively stressing about the worst-case scenario
